A beautiful new colour in the new Persica/Floribunda range of roses. Yellow with a red/orange eye. A mild fragrance on a healthy bush. A new race of roses derived from Rosa persica a native of Iran and Afghanistan. This thin, prickly shrub is considered a weed of cultivated land and is collected as firewood. Its one unique feature is a dark central blotch on its golden yellow flowers and it has been the Holy Grail of rose breeders for the last 40 years to somehow transmit this feature into a modern healthy repeat flowering cultivar.
