This evergreen shrub is both ornamental and edible. Spring and Summer is the time when large clusters of exotic-looking tubular flowers adorn the plant. Then in Autumn a tasty crop of luscious, dark purple berries abound. Both edible, with the berries rich in antioxidants and the flowers used in salads or as a garnish. Great in a pot or the garden.
