Munstead Wood

David Austin

Large very deep, warm velvety crimson while the outer petals remain rather lighter, in the cooler months the blooms colour intensifies and is very striking. The blooms are of a large size and cupped at first becoming shallowly cupped with time, as the flower ages we get glimpses of the stamens amongst the petals.

It has a strong Old Rose fragrance, warm and fruity with blackberry, blueberry and damson. Munstead has a bushy arching habit.
